Other Fibers:  Example E

I chose the mohair (sample #22, animal fiber, hair type) for this example. This boufle yarn can be knitted, woven or crocheted.  When I have a choice, I always crochet, in this instance the boufles are accented more with crochet than with knit or weave.  The swatch comes alive with the animated bumps.  Such a whimsical sweater could be made from this yarn.  The yarn is soft enough for garments, has plenty of body and will be very warm but lightweight.
The swatch was single crocheted with size J aluminum crochet hook.  It was washed and blocked.  I suggest washing the finished garment in Ivory liquid, herbal vinegar rinse and block dry.  Occasionally use a small amount of fabric softener to cut down on static and felting.  Store in a cedar chest or somewhere away from moths.

Note that the description is simple.   It includes the sample used and why that sample was chosen, method, finishing, and care instructions.
