Sample #34 the nylon and bright colored rayon demands
attention with its luster and bright colors. The swatch demonstrates the
elasticity of the yarn as well as the body and softness. Even though these man made
fibers are soft the four ply punctuates the fiber's properties. These qualities make
it definitely suitable for pullovers. A child's sweater needs to be machine washable
and this yarn fits the bill.
The yarn was knitted on size 10 bamboo needles in a two by two
rib. An entire sweater could be knitted on 10 or 12 needles. The yarn can be
thrown in the washing machine with a mild detergent and tossed in the dryer on a cool
setting.
